Alhaurin Golf is a Seve Ballesteros designed golf course in the heart of the Costa del Sol, above Fuengirola and Mijas Costa, midway from Malaga and Marbella.
Alhaurin Golf is built on a hillside and offers gorgeous views over the Mediterranean Sea and the Mijas mountains. The design adpats to the ups and downs of the terrain and is composed of five par 3´s, five par 5´s and eight par 4´s, assuring and entertaining game of golf. Index hole is that par 5 dogleg right hole number 6, once you play it you realise how great golf design can be.
Apart from this par 72 course, Alhaurin Golf offers a 9 holes training course surrounding the practice area, which is probably one of the best in Andalucia.

The 18 hole golf course is situated int he beatufil golf valley behind La Casa de Mijas at Costa del Sol – only 5 minuts from the Sea The course is an 18-hole, par 72 and 5.866 metres long and has been built according to United States Golf Association (USGA) rules and regulations with regard to the tees, bunkers, drainage and greens. We can assure you that your players will enjoy this course, designed by Aymerich Golf Management. It includes, among others, the following features: Greens have an average area above 500 sqm. Players will find them very exciting due to an extraordinary shaping work. This characteristic will allow a lot of pin positions, from the very simple to the most difficult ones.
There are a variety of fairways layouts. All of them are wide in the ball drop areas and clear, so that the player can see the obstacles before hitting the ball. Tees are spread in different platforms, providing the players the possibility of playing the course with a huge variety of distances. The three 18-hole championship courses all offer a different challenge,
America Course: Campo America is enhanced by spectacular views to the Sierra de Ojén and Mediterranean Sea.
It’s wide, linked fairways and relatively few bunkers make this a slightly easier driving course, though the hilly topography requires a lot of carry across steep brush-covered side slopes. while the small raised greens demands more precise club selection to hit the mark.
There are water hazards on the 9th and 16th.
Asia Course: The spectacular Campo Asia has plenty of challenging holes, guaranteeing a testing round of golf which puts a premium on the approach shot.
The oldest of our three courses and the one most respected by the professionals, it is narrow and short, with four par 5 holes demanding skill and strategy.
Look out for the 10th with its classic design, and the 5th where the aim of your drive is especially critical. The 18th requires full concentration. Remember not to over-club off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could spoil your scorecard.
Europa Course: A dramatic course but easier for the average golfer, with generous fairways, flatter terrain and slightly larger greens than Campo America and Asia. Notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways. There are four tunnels for golf carts. Water hazards guard the 3rd and 14th greens. The 14th is at the maximum limit of what is allowed for a par 3 at 233 metres. The par 5 11th is the longest hole at 524 metres.

The hilly fairways, numerous doglegs and water hazards guarantee, besides a beautiful view, a very varied game. The place is entertaining, topographically interesting and pleasant to play on because the tracks allow some scattering. You can and may complete it on foot, which is easily possible in terms of the sporting requirements. The course is quite hilly and wavy and offers some very nice (signature) holes. The designer really made an effort and got a lot out of the landscape. The path description at each tee is very good.
The green fee is relatively cheap, but the place is not quite as spruced up as the others in the area. the quality is really impressivey. Tees, bunkers, fairways and the mostly undulating greens are in nice condition.
