Mijas is located in the heart of Spain’s Costa del Sol and is recognized internationally as a premier beach and resort destination. It is easily accessible, only 28 km from Malaga Airport and just 18 km from Marabella.
Located on the slopes of a mountain range, Mijas Pueblo perfectly combines the atmosphere of a mountain village and a coastal zone. It offers the traveler all the modern amenities without sacrificing the beauty, culture and history of the region. The old town offers fantastic views of the Mediterranean, whitewashed terraces of old Spanish houses, cozy cafés, tapas bars and authentic regional restaurants. Nearby the steep mountain landscape gives way to the smoothness of the coast where the Las Lagunas district is located.
